| Contrary to the previous post, I have had numerous occasions when I have been approached with the question, 'What are you wearing?'. this is an amazing scent, a pleasant mix of subtleness and reserved masculinity. of course, fragrances dont always react with a person's chemistry the way they would with another. i'd say try a small bottle and when the compliments start coming in, then you can buy a larger bottle. |

| This scent is a hit with all the ladies in my life; family, friends, coworkers, random women in resturants, right down to my oh so significant other. I'm a young guy, and this is a great scent that I can wear to work, to class, or out to dinner and know I smell great for the occasion. Its the kind of fragrence that subtly exudes masculinity rather than clubs people over the head with it. I love it and I can tell you the women in your life will love it too. |

| I dont know how many times I've had random girls tell me, "you smell so good." It happens everywhere. One time I was walking out of the door from one of my college classes and a girl said, "Is that Acqua Di Gio?" I said, "Yes, it is." And she just sighed. Another time I was at the dentist and the cute dental assistant girl told me that I smelled really good. The last time I wore it was out to an upscale bar in Phoenix and I literally had girls pulling me towards them so they can smell me. This stuff is amazing. I have never worn something that gets girls as crazy as this. Hot damn. |

With "ACQUA DI GIO," Giorgio Armani has put passion in a bottle. Like Pandora's Box or a genie's bottle, Acqua Di Gio is without question the best cologne on the market today.
Hopefully the knuckle-dragging Aqua Velva men are nearing extinction as the next generation is set to embrace the Acqua Di Gio product line.
Fragrances are fickle things, women know this (hopefully), but we men are generally in the dark on the whole matter of a balanced bouquet. Acqua Di Gio may not be the perfect fragrance for you (or your man), but my success with it is shared by those whom I know also wear it.
Body chemistry is key and some will have more luck with it than others.
Overall the scent is mild, masculine, and draws on Asian and middle eastern inspiration (citrus, jasmine, sandalwood-ish, and aquatics).
I don't frequently wear cologne, but when I do I swear by Acqua Di Gio.
A brilliant product and a testament to Armani's timelessness. |
Sex in a Bottle

| I have always dated men who wear this cologne. Not on purpose but I always seem to find or smell men who wear this scent. My mother calls it sex in a bottle. The scent is light and pleasant but still smells like a man should smell. |

This is one of the most popular mens' fragrances since it was launched by Giorgio Armani in 1996. The reason for its universal appeal its just the right blend of floral, fruity and musky notes to create an aroma that is pleasing for men to wear. And as a woman, I can vouch for its pleasant effect on my olfactory senses.
Here is the composition:
Top Notes : Florals/ Citrus - Jasmine, Rosemary, Hespiridic (citrusy)
Middle Notes: Fruity, fresh - Persimmon Fruits, Marine Notes
Base Notes: Woodsy, Musky - Cedar, Patchouli, White Musk, Rock Rose
The overall effect is not too overpowering, and the transition between notes is subtle. It's a fragrance that lends itself well to daytime wear as well as evening wear. I find it a very well balanced perfume that hits just the right notes and works very nicely for the "metro" man.

| There's something about Armani! His fragrances are just as stylish and subtly classic as his designs. Acqua Di Gio offers a mysterious, tantalizing aroma. Faint notes of citrus blended with a masculine "woodsy" scent create a fragrance of which I never tire. You cannot really pinpoint the fragrance or classify it - only know that it is irresistible. |
